	SARINA JENNINGS Biography Make no mistake, if you have heard Sarina vocalize, or had the pleasure of experiencing her perform, it is true, honest, and refreshing in every sense of the word. Since her teen years, she has been extensively involved in the Creative Arts, faithfully performing, training, and studying to achieve her goals in this passion called music Offering15 years experience in the music industry, professionalism and maturity are what shine forth in her delivery. Working as a session vocalist, she has been able to contribute in various studio recordings and many live performances. Some of these accolades include singing in an exclusive 12 piece Afro/Latin Band, “CUMANA”, which require of her to sing solely in Spanish and bring her knowledge of harmonies, and arrangements for backing vocals. This has enabled Sarina to draw from her Latin influences, a musical style in which she has enjoyed and been inspired by. A front singer, for a groove covers band that go by the name of “BROTHERSLAM”, performing diligently around city venues and other venues in and outside of NSW, gigging up to five nights a week. This band was solely a Funk, R&B, dance band, again allowing her to draw from a musical style in which she has been so richly influenced by. For the most part, freelancing as a busy vocalist, Sarina can draw from plenty of experience over the years filling in for, duos, live bands, concept shows (fully choreographed and costumed), live album recordings (Dr. Bob, rhythm & Blues), charity concerts for Youth Alive organisation at venues such as The Entertainment Centre, Homebush Stadium, & Parramatta Stadium, Functions for big co-operations including Amway at the SuperDome Homebush, the Aqua Shell for the Barcadi Festival, backing vocals for the main stage at annual events such as Black Stump, television talent show, Gospel Showcase (live at the Café) and even solo with the option of accompanying herself on guitar or piano. Her training includes, vocal, dance, musicianship, songwriting, guitar, piano and performance. In 1994 she completed a 2 year full-time course achieving a Diploma in Creative Arts which she majored in Vocals and Musicianship. With roots that were born from Gospel, in 1999, she had the opportunity to record a church project, album titled “Stir it up”, of which she sang and wrote 10 tracks. Sarina’s talent and skill led her to the position of Musical Director in her local church, with which she was voluntarily but faithfully committed to for 9 years, responsible for instrumentation and vocal arrangements for the Music Department. This role also included her personal contribution as a guitarist, singer and at times a Choir Director. Other credits, involve teaching as a private tutor from home, to vocal styling in a class environment. She was also offered a teaching role in The Jaanz School of Singing. Currently Sarina is managing her own band called REVIVA, (primarily a groove covers band), in which she is privileged to work with great musicians such as Ritchie on bass from Diesel, Kulcha and Richard Clapton, Guitarist Kris from Tina Arena and Richard Clapton, keyboardist Dave from Vanessa Amorosi and drummer Emilio who has toured nationally with Nathan Cavalieri and the Buddy Holly Show. She is also writing with some great songwriter/musicians, putting together an original collaboration with a record deal in mind. Sarina’s vision will no doubt take her places. With a warm presence on stage, a soulful and easy voice, she will captivate you with her passion and love for music.
